Pola Bakteri Aerob Dan Sensitivitas Antibiotik Pada Pasien Abses Periapikal Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau
Periapical abscess is a lesion that spreads or is localized in the periradicular region as an inflammatory response to microbes or non-microbes from the pulp that experiences necrosis. This study aims to identify, analyze bacteria and antibiotic sensitivity in periapical abscess patients. The study was conducted at Arifin Achmad general hospital in Riau province and Microbiology Laboratory of medicine faculty if Universitas Riau. Samples were in the form of pus abscesses cultured and identified bacterial patterns and sensitivity to antibiotics. A total of 30 study samples consisted of 56.66% females and 43,34% males with the highest frequency of early adults 26 -35 for 20%. the result showed that there were 17 samples of negative Gram bacteria (56.66%), with the highest frequency being E. coli which was 23.33%. Gram positive bacteria were 13 samples (43.34%) with the highest frequency being Streptococcus a, which was 26.67%. Antibiotic sensitivity test results showed that Gram negative bacteria had a high sensitivity to ciprofloxacime, gentamycin, levofloxacin and piperacilin – tazobactam namely 100% and Gram positive bacteria had a high sensitivity to amoxicillin ,ceftriaxone, levofloxacin, linezolid, sefazolin dan vancomycin which is 100%.
