Pengaruh Nilai Tukar Dan Produk Domestik Bruto (Pdb) Terhadap Volume Ekspor Kakao Sumatera Barat Ke Negara Thailand Tahun 2002-2016

This study aims to analyze the effect of Rupiah Exchange Rate and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on the Volume of Cocoa Export in West Sumatra to Thailand in 2002-2016. The independent variable used in this study is the exchange rate, the real GDP of the export destination country is obtained from the worldbank in 2002-2016. The dependent variable used is the volume of cocoa export in West Sumatra to the destination country, Thailand and Singapore obtained from the West Sumatra Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2002-2016. This study uses secondary data from Bank Indonesia reports and the Central Statistics Agency. The analysis is OLS regression using E-views 10.5. To find the regression results, the classical assumptions are tested such as normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test. statistical testing such as partial test (t test), simultaneous test (f), and multiple determination coefficient (R2) test. The result is that simultaneously the rupiah exchange rate has no effect on the volume of West Sumatra cocoa exports to Thailand, while the gross domestic product affects the volume of West Sumatra cocoa exports to Thailand. While partially the value of rupiah exchange is not significant with a significant level of 0.3538 and with a positive relationship of 0.569567 to the volume of cocoa exports. Gross domestic product has a significant effect with a significant level of 0.0041 and with a positive relationship of 31.60188 to the volume of cocoa exports of West Sumatra to Thailand. This insignificant Rupiah exchange rate indicates that the exchange rate is not elasticity in the plantation sector and affects the volume of cocoa exports in West Sumatra to Thailand, while GDP has a significant effect. Therefore, the volume of cocoa exports is influenced by several of these variables. Keywords : Exports, GDP, Exchange Rates,Cocoa, and E-views.
