Analisis Pelaksanaan Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah Di Pondok Pesantren Islamic Centre Alhidayah Kampar
This study wanted to know the authority and responsibility of the government, schools and madrasah committees in school management. The objectives in this study are: (1) analyzing the implementation of school-based management; 2) explain the obstacles to implementing school-based management, and 3) explain the efforts made to overcome obstacles in implementing school-based management.
This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The focus of this research is the implementation of school-based management and barriers as well as efforts to overcome obstacles in implementing school-based management at the Islamic Boarding Schools Islamic Center Al-Hidayah Kampar, Riau Province.
The results showed that the implementation of school-based management at the Al-Hidayah Kampar Center Islamic Boarding School had been carried out from the beginning until now and had gone quite well. Constraints experienced in implementing school-based management are the low commitment of teacher work, ie the teacher makes it easy to make a decision to change jobs (turnover) when getting a job offer at another institution. Efforts made to overcome these obstacles include: (a) giving awards regularly; (b) hold training, training and / or workshop activities; (c) provide confirmation of teacher performance commitments and carry out periodic evaluations and improvements; (d) increasing teacher participation in decision making; (e) the development of a fair compensation system; (f) formulation of teacher's needs and expectations into school goals; and (g) the creation of relationship-oriented and task-oriented leadership behaviors and improve the clarity of the teacher's role in school.
