Kandungan Logam Berat Besi (Fe) Dan Kromium (Cr) Pada Air, Sedimen Dan Cacing Sutera (Tubifex Sp.) Di Sungai Sail Pekanbaru

Sail River has been polluted by heavy metals, especially Fe and Cr. Those heavy metals may accumulate in the body of aquatic organisms, including Tubifex. This research aims to understand the content of Fe and Cr in the water, sediment and Tubifex obtained from the river. Sampling was done three times, once in two weeks, from December 2017 - January 2018. Samples of water, sediment and Tubifex were taken from 3 stations, namely station I (in the upstream), station II (in the residential area) and Station III (in the downstream). The sample was analyzed using AAS. Results shown that the Fe in the water was 0.708 mg/L, in the sediment was 33.27 mg/kg and in the Tubifex was 51.78 mg/kg. Concentration of Cr in the water was 0.141 mg/L, in the sediment was 21.08 mg/kg and in the Tubifex was 6.54 mg/kg. There are correlations among Fe and Cr in the water, sediment and Tubifex. Data obtained indicate that the Sail River has been polluted by Fe and Cr. Keywords : Heavy metal, Polluted river, Sludge worm, Iron, Chromium
