Analisis Pengendalian Mutu Guna Mengendalikan Kerusakan Produk Pada Home Industry Roti Mongonsidi Pekanbaru
Quality is the main element in increasing the competitiveness of a product. Quality control needs to be done so that product can meet consumer expectations, so as to improve the quality of products that are not defective, and ultimately can save costs, raw materials, and time. The object of this study is Home Industry Roti Mongonsidi in Pekanbaru. The type of research that I do is descriptive using a quantitative approach. The type of data used is quantitative data sourced from interviews, observations and company documentation. The method used in this study is SQC (Statistical Quality Control), by using check sheets, histograms, P-chart analysis are used to monitor damaged products, pareto analysis are used to identify the dominant types of defects and cause - effect diagrams are used to look factors that cause product damage, then compile a recommendation or quality improvement proposal.
The results of the p-chart analysis show that the process is in a state of uncontrollable. This can be seen in the control chart where the points are very irregular, and many are out of control limits. Based on the pareto analysis, priority repairs that need to be done is for dominant type of damage is charred (50.8%), sodden (33%), and moldy (16.2%). From the cause - effect diagram analysis, the causes of damage come from human / worker factors, production machinery, work methods and work environment, so the company can take preventive actions and repairs to reduce the level of damage and improve product quality.
