Gambaran Darah Merah Ikan Jambal Siam (Pangasius Hypophthalmus) Yang Diberi Vaksin Aeromonas Hydrophila
Vaccine is alternative to prevention bacteria of Aeromonas hydrophila. The objective of this research was to findout how long the best immersion time of jambal siam (P. hypophthalmus) given vaccinated A. hydrophila. The fish used during this research were 8-10 cm as many 250 tails. This research was conducted in April – Juni 2018. The purpose of this research was to given understand the hematology of (Pangasius hypophthalmus) that was with Aeromonas hydrophila vaccine. This research was conducted in April to June 2018. The method was an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) one factor with five treatments and three times replication. Treatment in this research were: Kn: The fishes that was not with given vaccine and infected by A. hydrophila, Kp: The fishes that was not given vaccine and was infected by A. hydrophila, P1: Immersion with vaccine dose 1 ml/10 L water during 15 minutes, P2: Immersion with vaccine dose 1 ml/10 L water during 30 minutes, P3: Immersion with vaccine dose 1 ml/10 L water during 45 minutes. The fish maintained for 21 days in the aquarium. The challenge test was carried out for 22 days by A. hydrophila. Measured parameter was total erythrocyte, hematocryte value, hemoglobin level, relative percent survival (RPS), antibody titer. The result of this research was the best treatment is P2 during 30 minutes the average of total erythrocyte 245x104 cells/mm3, hematocryte value 28,00%, hemoglobin level 9,50 g/dl, relative percent survival (RPS) 83,33%, antibody titer 0,822%.
