Pola Hubungan Pembudidaya Ikan Mas (Cyprinus Carpio) Dengan Tauke Di Desa Maligas Bayu Kecamatan Huta Bayu Raja Kabupaten Simalungun Provinsi Sumatera Utara
This research was conducted on 30 July to 14 August 2018 in Maligas Bayu Village, Huta Bayu District, Raja Simalungun Regency. The purpose of this study was to analyze the patterns of social and economic relations between tauke and carp farmers in the village of Maligas Bayu. The study also aims to describe the benefits of the tauke relationship with carp fish farmers in the village of Maligas Bayu.
The results showed that the advantage of farmers from patron-client relationships conducted by farmers with tauke benefited their lives, because the relationship was able to guarantee the fulfillment of the necessities of life for ther families while the loss was the right to monopolize the price of seeds and the results of carp cultivation. Whereas the advantage of tauke in patron client relationships is the availability of goldfish commodities continuously at the prices that are not in line with market prices while the losses experienced by tauke are the existence of several cultivators who commit fraud by selling their cultivation products to other tauke and slow capital turnover due improper debt repayment.
