Analisis Karakter Disiplin Dan Kerja Keras Pada Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru

The problems in this study are based on observations found in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru, there are still many students who dispose of garbage out of place and there are still students who arrive late in school, there are students who do not do homework, and there are still students who dress not in accordance with school rules. This study aims to determine the character of discipline and hard work in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru. The research used is descriptive quantitative research, using research instruments in the form of questionnaires and interviews. The disciplinary character of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru in the three indicators seen from the percentage of student answers, the three disciplinary character indicators get good categories, namely at the time discipline indicator with a percentage of 79.37% and discipline indicators with a percentage of 82.84% and discipline indicators behavior gets a percentage of 83.44%. The character of hard work in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru in the two indicators is seen from the percentage of student answers, both indicators of hard work get good categories, namely the indicator completes all tasks well and on time with a percentage of 79.28% and indicators do not give up easily completing assignments with a percentage of 77.81%.
