Stabilisasi Tanah Gambut Menggunakan Geopolimer Hybrid
Peat soil has high moisture content and organic content. Peat soil is stabilized to improve soil properties and increase strength. This study examines stabilization mixtures on peat soil with geopolymers hybrid. Geopolymers are alternative substitutes for cement, made from remnants of industrial waste rich in silica and alumina, such as fly ash, husk ash, slag and palm ash. The geopolymer bond can be activated with an activator solution. Geopolymers are added by OPC to accelerate hardening and optimize strength on the ground. The purpose of this study to compare the compressive strength of peat soil mixed with the soil geopolymer hybrid using an Unconfined Compressive Test (UCS). This study used different variations of the binder of 200 kg/m3 and 250 kg/m3 and treatments varied at seven days and 28 days. The geopolymers included are 25%, 50%, and 75% of the binder and OPC used are 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of the binder. The results showed that the difference in the value of compressive strength with the geopolymer mixture hybrid highest was B250 (75OPC_25GP) of 128,1 kPa with 28 days of treatment, and this yield was higher than peat at 16,2 kPa with 28 days of treatment. Based on the results of this test it was concluded that peat soil using a mixture of hybrid geopolymer could increase the value of compressive strength. Keywords: peat soil, OPC, fly ash, geopolymer hybrid, UCS
