Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Talking Stick Berbantuan Media Question Box Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas III SDN 161 Pekanbaru
This research was conducted because of the low learning outcomes of third grade students of SDN 161 Pekanbaru. This can be seen from the IPS daily test scores of 24 students, while the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) in SDN 161 Pekanbaru is 75 students who complete are 8 students and not complete as many as 16 students with a class average of 66.46. To overcome these problems, researchers have implemented the Cooperative Learning Type Talking Stick Model Assisted by Media Question Box. The choice of the model is believed to be able to assist teachers in improving learning activities because it can build a classroom atmosphere that stimulates student enthusiasm and makes students more active in expressing opinions. The use of media also makes students more interested in the learning process and stimulates the emotional and intellectual involvement of students. This type of research is classroom action research consisting of two cycles. The subjects of this study were class IIIA students of SDN 161 Pekanbaru, after this study the student learning outcomes increased from a base score of 66.46 increased in the first cycle to 75.83 with a percentage increase of 14.10%, then increased again in cycle II to 82, 92 with an increase in percentage of 24.77%, thus the application of the type of Talking Stick cooperative learning model Assisted by Question Box Media can improve social studies learning outcomes of third grade students of SDN 161 Pekanbaru.
