Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Dan Komunikasi Interpersonal Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Kinerja Guru SD Swasta Sekecamatan Payung Sekaki Kota Pekanbaru
This study aims to find out: (1) The effect of principals' leadership (X1) on teacher performance (Y); (2) Effect of interpersonal communication (X2) on teacher performance (Y); (3) Effect of principals' leadership (X1) and interpersonal communication (X2) on teacher performance (Y). The population in this study were 387 teachers in Private Elementary Schools in Payung Sekaki Sub-district, and a sample of 310 teachers were obtained using proportional random sampling techniques. Data collection is done through a questionnaire. Data analysis used is Simple Linear Regression and Multiple Linear Regression. The results of this study indicate that; (1) there is a significant effect of the principal's leadership on Teachers’ Performance with the regression line equation Y = 49,212 + 0,363X1 with an effect of 30,2%; (2) there is a significant effect of interpersonal communication on teachers’ performance with the regression line equation Y = 51.107 + 0.342X2 with an effect of 26.1%; (3) Entirely or simultaneously, there is a positive influence of principals' leadership and interpersonal communication (X2) on teachers’ performance with the regression line equation Y = 48,947 + 0,337X1 + 0,029X2 with an effect of 30,3%.
