Pemanfaatan Tepung Eceng Gondok (Eichhornia Crassipes) Hasil Fermentasi Dengan Cairan Rumen Sapi Dalam Pakan Untuk Pertumbuhan Benih Ikan Nila (Oreochromis Niloticus)
This research has been implemented for 56 days from July to October 2018. This research intend to determine the growth rate of Tilapia seeds (Oreochromis Niloticus) on feed containing fermented hyacinth leaves using cow rumen fluid, and to determine the best percentage of fermented hyacinth flour in feed for the growth Tilapia seeds (Oreochromis Niloticus). This research use a Completely Randomize Design (CRD) method with 1 factor, 5 treatments and 3 replications. Fish used in this research were 6-10 cm in size with an average weight of 9,8-10,7 gr. Fish are kept in cage measuring 1 m3 with a stocking density of 25 fish/cages. Feeding experiments were carried out by replacing soybean flour with fermented hyacinth flour as much P1 (0%), P2 (10%), P3 (20%), P4 (30%), and P5 (40%) with 30% protein content. The research result showed that the use of hyacinth leaves flour fermentation did not significantly influence (P> 0.05) on growth, feed efficiency and feed digestibility of Tilapia. The addition fermented hyacinth leaves flour by 40% (P5) gave the best value for feed digestibility of 54,36%, feed efficiency 24.81%, protein retention 73,83% and specific growth rate of 1,06%. Keywords: Tilapia Seeds, Fermentation, Growth, Hyacinth Flour, Soybean Flour.
