Pengaruh Inflasi, Penanaman Modal Asing (Pma) Langsung Dan Utang Luar Negeri Terhadap Nilai Tukar Rupiah Atas Dolar Amerika Serikat Tahun 2001-2018
This research aims to determine how much influence inflation, foreign direct investment (FDI) and external debt on the rupiah exchange rate against US Dolar. This research uses independent variables of inflation, foreign direct investment (FDI) and external debt, and dependent variable is Rupiah Exchange Rate against US Dolar.
The data used in this research is annual data from 2001-2018. The analytical method used is descriptive quantitative and analyzed partially or simultaneously with multiple linear regression OLS (Ordinary Least Square) processed by using E-Views 10.
The result shows that, inflation, foreign direct investment and external debt has a significant effect on the rupiah exchange rate against US Dolar simultaneously. Meanwhile, the inflation and external debt has a significant positive effect on the rupiah exchange rate against US Dolar and foreign direct investment has a significant negative effect on the rupiah exchange rate against US Dolar. In addition, it was found that the value of adjusted R2 is 84.99%.
