The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of card payment instruments (APMK) and inflation against the velocity of money in Indonesia period 2009QI – 2018QIV.
The data used in this research is time series data from I quarter 2009– quarter IV 2018, obtained from Bank Indonesia (BI). The independent variabel in this study is a credit card (X1), ATM card/Debit card (X2) and Inflation (X3), while the dependent variabel is the velocity of money. This study used a quantitative method, and analized using analytical tools multipel linear regression using a computer application program Eviews version.10
The research results are obtained that credit card, ATM card/Debit card and Inflation positive effect to the velocity of money. Based in the overall of f-test is credit card, ATM card/Debit card and Inflation together have a significant effect to the velocity of money. Based in t-test credit card, ATM card/Debit card significant effect and Inflation no significant effect to the velocity of money in Indonesia priod 2009QI -2018QIV.
