Analisis Kondisi Sosial Ekonomi Masyarakat Miskin Kampung Teluk Merbau Kecamatan Dayun Kabupaten Siak Provinsi Riau

This study aims to determine the socio-economic conditions of poor communities in the villages of Teluk Merbau Dayun Subdistrict Siak Regency Riau Province. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method to complete this study. The author uses primary data obtained using data collection techniques by means of observation and questionnaires to obtain the required data, as well as secondary data obtained by interviewing the government of the village of Teluk Merbau village. The sample population is the poor in the village of Teluk Merbau. Samples were taken using cluster random sampling, samples from the population used as respondents in this study were 46 heads of families. To get the number of classes and make a table of frequency distribution of income, amount of consumption, and land area using the Strurgess formula, namely K = 1 + 3.322 log n in completing this study.
The results of this study indicate that the average education of respondents and family members of respondents is Elementary School (SD). For the health condition of the respondents it can be said to be good because only a few have serious complaints. The average income of poor households is IDR 1,500,000. In poor households not all of them have assets of houses, land and motorized vehicles. The consumption expenditure of the poor is Rp. 1,250,000 - Rp. 1,499,000.
