Visual acuity is very important for drivers, and visual acuity is also a legal visual requirement to get a driving license. According to WHO,visual acuity as a standard for safety driving is 6/18. The most common cause of road trafftic accident in Indonesia is because the drivers (91%). The aim of this study to identify visual acuity of commercial drivers in Pekanbaru. This study was a descriptive which data was obtained by visual acuity test directly to drivers using Snellen Chart. The results showed that visual acuity of 212 commercial drivers in Pekanbaru with vision impairment, and commonly was mild visual impairment.
