Karakterisasi Film Tipis Ba1-Xsrxtio3 Untuk Komposisi X=0,70; X=0,75 Dan X=0,80 Dengan Menggunakan Spektroskopi Ultraviolet Visible
Barium Strontium Titanate (BST) thin films with a composition of Ba0,3Sr0,7TiO3, Ba0,25Sr0,75TiO3 and Ba0,2Sr0,8TiO3 were successfully made using the sol-gel method with different compositions, and each composition was annealed at temperature of 600oC, 650oC and 700oC. The purpose of this study is to find the value of optical properties which included absorbance, transmittance, refractive index, layer thickness, layer absorption coefficient and gap energy using Tauc Plot method with different compositions and temperatures. Characterization of BST films was carried out using Ultraviolet-Visible Spectrophotometer (UV-Vis). The results of UV-Vis characterization at temperatures of 600oC, 650oC and 700oC for thin layers Ba0,3Sr0,7TiO3 showed the width of the band gap energy at 3.40 eV, 3.40 eV and 2.97 eV respectively. Samples of Ba0,25Sr0,75TiO3 has band gap energy of 2.78 eV, 3.39 eV and 3.40 eV for the temperature of 600oC, 650oC and 700oC respectively. The more over, sample Ba0,2Sr0,8TiO3 has band gap energy of 3.42 eV, 1.30 eV and 2.70 eV. The width of the energy band gap produced at different compositions and temperatures in this study is semiconductor material.
