Palm plantations are one of the sources of Vegetable Oil which currently has become the main and leading agricultural commodity in Indonesia, both as a source of income for millions of farming families, as a source of foreign exchange, employment providers, as well as a trigger and a driver of growth in new economic centers as a driver of the growth and development of Crude Palm Oil based industries in Indonesia. PT Padasa Enam Utama is a private plantation company that has entered into an agreement with the credit pattern of theRegional Cooperative Primary Cooperative for its Members (KKPA) in Kampar District. Theform of cooperation in the agreement between PT PEU and the local Cooperative (Tiga Koto KUD and Pincuran Tujuh KUD) included the construction of oil palm plantations, maintenance and harvesting of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB), and training in administration, management and technical training concerning oil palm plantations.
Currently PT PEU has 7700 hectares of oil palm plantations and the Cooperative has 3550 hectares. As of December 2017, there are 7700 ha of core production, namely PT PEU and 3550 Ha owned by the Cooperative.
Based on the description above, the problem of this research is to find out how the general picture of respondents consisting of partner farmers and non-partners, what attributes are priorities for farmers in participating in the PT PEU partnership program, how the partnership impacts have been running especially for farmers and generally towards the area around the plantation location and knowing which attributes should be given special attention by the company to be repaired. Based on these problems, the purpose of this study is to know the general picture of farmers, both corporate partners and non-partners, to know and analyze the attributes that are a priority for partner farmers in participating in the partnership program, know the impact of the partnership implementation program on the progress of partner farmers and to know and analyze the attributes that must be improved in performance.
The research activity was carried out at the PT PEU plantation location which is located in the Koto Kampar Hulu sub-district, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. Data collection is carried out for 5 months starting from January to May 2017. The research method to be conducted is a survey method using documentation data for internal data and questionnaires distributed to farmers as correspondents. This distribution aims to determine farmers' perceptions of partnership programs in PT Padasa Enam Utama. The sampling technique is divided into two: 100 farmers who participate in partnership programs and farmers who do not take part in the partnership program as many as 50 respondents. especially in terms of financial partners which are more profitable, sampling is done based on convenience (convenience), which is a sampling method that is based on the factor of convenience researchers. The data processing method is to use description analysis,thurstone analysis, signtest, grossmargin, chisquare, and quadrant analysis.
Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded several suggestions, namely: (1). An important issue that must be considered is a matter of trust, where according to the results of research the trust of partner farmers to the company has been seen to go down, therefore the company is expected to foster a sense of trust in one partner by seriously implementing the agreement. (2) The company can provide understanding and explanation to partner farmers that in the long term this program can have good prospects where farmers do not need to think about Farm maintenance costs and are easy to obtain good seeds, (3) Need to improve the FFB recording system produced by the farmers so that farmers can know the amount of FFB producedaccurately.
