Adopsi Inovasi Dan Keberdayaan Petani Dalam Pemasaran Sistem Lelang Bahan Olahan Karet Rakyat (BOKAR) Di Kecamatan Gunung Toar Dan Kuantan Mudik Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi
This research aims to, 1) Describe marketing auction system and conventional in Kuantan Singingi regency especially Kuantan Mudik district and Gunung Toar district, 2) Analyze the empowerment farmers who adopt the auction system and conventional marketing in Kuantan Mudik district and Gunung Toar district, 3) Analyze the dominant factor affecting farmers in adopting conventional marketing and auction system. This research was conducted in 4 villages in 2018 on Kuantan Singingi regency. The population of the research consisted of rubber growers who use auction marketing system and conventional marketing system. Methods of analysis used a descriptive analysis, Structural Equantion Models (SEM) analysis and Likert’s Summated Rating (LSR) analysis.
Research results showed the auction marketing mechanisms followed by rubber farmers (sellers), traders (the buyer), extension officers and organizers of the auction market, market auction conducted one time in a week, the conventional system of marketing is conducted every day and price of rubber (bokar) established by traders (the buyer). The dominant factor affecting farmers in adopting the auction system is characteristic of farmers and farmer's perceptions towards attributes of innovation, the dominant factor affecting farmers in adopting the conventional system are the characteristics of farmers and support climate efforts. Farmers auction are in the position quite empowerment with an average score of 2.96. Conventional farmers are in a position of unempowerment with the average score 2.15.
