Analisa Dampak Pemberdayaan Terhadap Peningkatan Usaha Industri Kecil Menengah Terasi Bagan Dan Ekonomi Masyarakat Pesisir Kecamatan Kubu Babussalam Kabupaten Rokan Hilir

This study aims to determine the condition of labor, technology, and marketing in small industries terasi bagan before the existence of empowerment and the impact of empowerment programs to increase business terasi bagan. Impact analysis is carried out with a functional structural approach. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects were determined using Purposive Sampling techniques for shrimp paste industry owners who received empowerment programs and added village apartments and community leaders.
The results of the study showed that the business empowerment program of the terasi IKM chart had an impact on improving the business and economy of coastal communities. Before the empowerment of the condition of the small shrimp paste industry the chart was not well developed, the labor involved involved tended to be small, the technology used was still simple, the production yield was not optimal and the marketing area was limited. After gaining empowerment, there was an increase in business, namely the number of workers increased to 7 to 11 people, the number of production increased due to the use of appropriate technology and the marketing area could penetrate the international market. Increased terasi chart business also has an impact on improving the economy of coastal communities, namely the opening of employment opportunities for the community by not questioning the level of education, increased income and asset ownership and reduced number of unemployed
