Aplikasi Pupuk Organik Dan Anorganik Dengan Teknologi Mikrob Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Padi Gogo (Oryza Sativa L.) Pada Media Gambut
Peatland is one type of lands that is included in the marginal land criteria. . Developing food crop commodities is one of the alternatives for the peatland agriculture development, especially for rice plants with a rooting criterion of 40-50 cm. To improve the nutrients and peat productivity, the additions of macro nutrients like N, P, and K, rice straw organic matter, compost, and cellulolytic microbes are needed. The aim of this study is to determine the growth and yield response of rice plants by using organic and inorganic fertilizers with microbes technology on peat soil. This research has been conducted at the Technical Services Unit (UPT) of the Experimental Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau on November 2017 until January 2018. The experiment was conducted experimentally using completely randomized design (CRD) that consists of 7 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment namely as P0 = without fertilizer; P1 = 2,60 g/plant Urea, 2,54 g/plant TSP, 0,96 g/ plant KCl; P2 = 5,21 g/plant Urea, 5,08 g/plant TSP, 1,92 g/plant KCl; P3 = 80 g/plant paddy straw compost; P4 = 160 g/plant paddy straw litter + 160 ml/plant microbes consortium; P5 = 80 g/plant compost paddy + 2,60 g/plant Urea, 2,54 g/plant TSP, 0,96 g/plant KCl; P6 = 160 g/plant paddy straw litter + 160 ml/microbes consortium + 2,60 g/plant Urea, 2,54 g/ plant TSP, 0,96 g/plant KCl.
The results showed that organic and inorganic fertilizers with microbial technology were able to increase plant nutrient uptake, namely N, P, and K respectively of 8%, 25%, and 24%. Meanwhile, receiving nutrient soil after total N harvest was 0,41%, P was available at 1270 ppm, and K total of 1,08%. The treatment of 160 g/rice straw litter plant + 160 ml/microbial consortium plant + 2,60 g/Urea plant, 2,54/TSP plant, 0,96 g/KCl plant was able to increase N nutrient uptake by 20%, P 25%, and K 29,71% in rice plants. Application of fertilizer with a dose 160 g/plant paddy straw litter + 160 ml/microbes consortium + 2,60 g/plant Urea, 2,54 g/ plant TSP, 0,96 g/plant KCl can increase plant height, number of tillers, number of productive tillers, number of rice grains, weight rice grain per plant, and harvest index. The combination of 160 g/plant paddy straw litter + 160 ml/microbes consortium + 2,60 g/plant Urea, 2,54 g/ plant TSP, 0,96 g/plant KCl can reduce the use of inorganic fertilizers up to 50% of recommended dosages without decreasing the production and rice yied.
