Status Keberlanjutan Kawasan Lubuk Larangan Di Desa Pangkalan Indarung Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

This study aims to determine the condition of the lubuk larangan area, analyze its sustainability status and to develop a strategy for managing the lubuk larangan area in Pangkalan Indarung Village in the future. This research was conducted from October 2017 to March 2018, located in Pangkalan Indarung Village, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study uses analysis techniques Rapfish, AHP and PPA. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that lubuk larangan in Pangkalan Indarung Village was a local wisdom of the community managed by tradisinal institutions to preserve fish resources in river. The lubuk larangan area is currently only one location that is still running, namely in the residential area of Pangkalan Indarung Village. The sustainability status of the lubuk larangan area in Pangkalan Indarung Village is in a fairly sustainable condition with an index value of 70.75. The sustainability index for dimension of institutional (82.03), ecology (76.16), technology (75.89) and social culture (75.09) are in good status. While the economic dimension (53.65) is in a fairly sustainable condition. The strategy for managing the lubuk larangan area in the future can be done through 3 scenarios, namely: (1) Scenario-1 (pessimistic), by making changes to the management rules and increasing income; (2) Scenario-2 (moderate), by making changes to management rules, increasing income, increasing protected area, increasing the use of passive fishing gear and increasing diversity of fish species in the lubuk larangan areas, and (3) Scenario-3 (Optimistic ), make changes to all key factors.
