Peran Ninik Mamak Dalam Penyelesaian Konflik Pertanahan Di Desa Muara Dilam Kecamatan Kunto Darussalam Kabupaten Rokan Hulu

This research based on Act No. 7 of 2012 concerning Handling of Social Conflict. Conflict between Muara Dilam inhabitants with Plantation Company has created several social symptoms. Various efforts have been taken by both parties to set their rights, and one of this efforts needs to be viewed is the contribution of Ninik Mamak who take part to settle this conflict. The purpose of this research is to review and analyze the Agrarian Conflict Settlement by Ninik Mamak in Muara Dilam, Kunto Darussalam, Rokan Hulu and to know the main factors supporting the settlement of the conflict.
This research is using qualitative method where the primary data collected by interviewing Ninik Mamak, PT Citra Sardela Abadi (CSA) public relation, Chief of Muara Dilam Village, Secretary of Muara Dilam Village and Chief of Hamlet 1 of Muara Dilam Village. Additional Informant is inhabitants of Muara Dilam Village. The secondary data collected from documentation.
Ninik Mamak settled the conflict by democratically discuss with the society and doing negotiation with the Plantation Company. They managed to get the company granted the society demand to give 10 acres of plantation land to the village government to be managed. Therefore, Ninik Mamak is clearly settled to handle the social conflict to avoid physical contact by the parties with taking a wise decision that can be accepted by all parties by suing negotiation, mediation and making decision. Conflict Settlement with increasing the social relationships and decrease economic gap.
