Hubungan Motivasi Remaja Masuk Pesantren Dengan Kemampuan Adaptasi
Islamic boarding schools are places to learn Islamic studies. Every teenager who chooses a boarding school has a different background in motivation and adaptability. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the motivation of adolescents who choose Islamic boarding schools with their adaptive abilities. This study used descriptive cross sectional approach. This research was conducted on 121 MTs Ummatan Wasathan students in the Islamic Boarding School Technology of Riau as samples selected using the free random sampling technique. The measuring instrument used is a valid and reliable questionnaire. The analysis used is univariate analysis with frequency distribution and bivariate analysis with Chi Square test. The results of the study showed that the motivation of the majority of teens choosing the islamic boarding school had a high motivation of 70 people (57,9%) and the majority of adaptive abilties had a good adaptation abilities of 61% (50,4%). The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between the motivation of adolescents choosing Islamic boarding schools with adaptive abilities with p value 0,000
