Persepsi Mahasiswa Terhadap Pelaksanaan Profesi Ners Di Fakultas Keperawatan Universitas Riau
Nursing profession education is a program where students become a professional nurse. This program aims to produce graduates who have knowledge, skills and professional nursing attitudes. The purpose of this research is to determine the perceptions of students to the implementation of the nurse profession which included lecturers, clinical supervisors and learning methods. This research employ descriptive research design. This research was carried out in the Faculty of Nursing Universitas Riau with 98 samples taken using total sampling techniques and paying attention to inclusion criteria. The measuring instrument used was a questionnaire that has been tested for its validity and reliability. The analysis used is univariate analysis. The results of this research were the majority of respondents gender is female were 94 (95.9%), the majority of respondents were 23 years old with as 50 people (41%). Percetions of lecturers indicated that 59 students had good perceptions (60.2%) to Emergency Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Family Nursing and Gerontology Nursing. This research also revealed that most of students had good perception clinical preceptors were 70 (71.4%) in Pshciatric Nursing, Family Nursing and Gerontology Nursing. Perceptions of learning method indicated that 56 students had good perceptions (57.1%) in the Pshciatric Nursing stase. Based on the results of this research the researchers concluded that the average student has a good perception of the lecturer, clinical supervisor and learning method. Researchers suggest that educational institutions be able to evaluate the nurse professional education process based on the results of the research and to the next researchers to conduct qualitative analysis research related to the experience of students in undergoing nurse professional education.
