Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Konsumsi Listrik Pln Di Provinsi Riau Tahun 2000-2017

This study the purpose is to examine the factors and electricity energy consumption in Riau Province, to find the value of elasticity that shows the use of electricity in Riau Province’s economy during 2000-2017, both by total and sectors. The method used is multiple loglinier regression analysis of time series data using the Ordinary least Square (OLS) method processed through SPSS for version 20.The results show that at a significant level of 5% it was found that the level of GDP or income according to expenditure only had a significant effect on the amount of electricity consumption in the public and household sectors. The number of customers significantly affects the amount of electricity consumption in the commercial sector and total. While, the power generation capacity has a significant effect on the industrial and the commercial sectors. Based on the elasticity value that comercial and total sectors have a significant effect on electricity consumption in Riau. However the household, industry and the public sectors do not significant affect electricity consumption in Riau.
