The aim of this study is to determine the alternative strategies of the plantation, horticulture, and food crop agriculture office of Riau province in increasing the crop of smallholder’s oil palm plantations in Riau Province. The method in this study is qualitative research. It uses SWOT data analysis by identifying the internal and external factors to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The results of the study show that the strategy formula for the increasing the crop of smallholder's oil palm plantations in Riau Province is SO strategy. It uses strengths to take advantage of the opportunities. The alternative strategies that can be implemented are conducting elucidations to improve the quality of Human Resources of oil palm farmers who are considered low,utilizing the replanting programs to overcome the Old Damaged Plants of the smallholder's oil palm, utilizing the potential of eludication agents to transfer technology to smallholder oil palm farmers through elucidation programs, and working with other stakeholders to reach out the smallholder oil palm farmers who have not yet been organized either in the form of cooperations, farmer groups, or other joint business entities to join institutions.
