Traffic violation is one of the circumstances where there is a mismatch between rules and execution. Rules in this case a legal device that has been established, it is contained in Law RI Number 22 Year 2009 in which it contains about traffic and road transport. On the one hand the people are less obedient to traffic law on the other hand there are public complaints because, often people are ticketed without legal procedures so as to reap the conflict between officers and riders. As a result, police image and public perception on police performance in Pekanbaru City decreased. The public wonders whether a rider is guilty or a cop who does not understand legal procedures in order to regulate traffic. Basically the law is ourselves and based on society. Order, safety and smoothness of traffic is a shared responsibility. This study aims to determine the influence of Police Knowledge on behaviour in Conducting Ticket on Raid Process of Traffic Violation in Pekanbaru City. This research is a quantitative research, the data that has been collected by coding, after which the data tabulated. The tabulated data are analyzed and described descriptively quantitatively. The result of the research found that the knowledge of police officers in traffic raids in Pekanbaru city is very good, because the knowledge of the police applied in the rules of traffic law in Pekanbaru in accordance with the provisions. Thus, the commitment of professionalism, transparency and accountability is manifested in the attitude and actions of police officers in carrying out their duties and daily authority. Knowledge significantly influence the behaviour in the process of raids traffic violation on Satlantas Polresta Pekanbaru. This can be seen through r count> more than r table, then the instrument is said to be valid. R table product moment for df: (N - 2) = 48 - 2 = 46 for alpha 5% is 0.320. Based on the reliability test cronbach alpha for X of 0.794 and for Y of 0.989 greater than the minimum value of cronbach alpha 0.6 can be concluded that the behaviour of police officers satlantas influenced by knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) on the Implementation Procedure Raids for guidelines implementation activities field in the framework of Law Enforcement spelled traffic.
