Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Role Playing Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas IV SDN 183 Pekanbaru
The background of this study is the low social studies learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of SDN 183 Pekanbaru. The low level of social studies learning outcomes of these students was seen from 35 students, only 15 students who achieved the minimum completeness criteria set at 70. Based on this problem, researchers made improvements to learning by conducting classroom action research by applying role-playing learning models. This research was conducted in April 2018, with the research subject being fourth-grade students with a total of 35 students consisting of 20 male students and 15 female students. The data used in this study are data on teacher and student activities and student social studies learning outcomes. The results of the study show that the activities of teachers and students and students' social studies learning outcomes increase every cycle. Teacher activities at the first meeting of the first cycle obtained an average percentage of 60.71%. Then in the second meeting, the first cycle received 67.85%. In the second cycle, the first meeting received 73.21%. While the second meeting gained 87.50%. The activity of students in the first cycle of the first meeting gained 57.50%. In the second meeting, the first cycle obtained 62.50%. At the first meeting, the second cycle received 72.50%. At the second meeting, the second cycle received 90.00%. The average social studies learning outcome increases, on the base score with an average score of 64.05 then in the first cycle gets 74.14, in the second cycle gets 81.28. Based on the results of these studies, it can be concluded that social studies learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of SDN 183 Pekanbaru have increased after the role-playing learning model has been applied.
