Struktur Komunitas Ikan Di Sungai Bilah Negeri Lama Kecamatan Bilah Hilir Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Provinsi Sumatera Utara
In the Bilah River. Negeri Lama Village, sand mining activities are conducted. These activities negatively affects the river in general as turbidity increased and thus affects the fish community structure in that river. A study aims to understand the community structure of fish from that area has been conducted in July to August 2018. The fish was sampling from 3 sampling points, 3 times, once/ 2 weeks, using gill nets, lift nets, scoop net, floating fish pots, fish traps and rods. Results shown that there were 11 fish families that were consisted of 12 species present, namely Anabantidae, Osphronemidae, Cichlidae, Helostomatidae, Channidae, Toxotidae, Bagridae, Clariidae, Pangasiidae, Cluipidae, Cyprinidae. The values of H' was 1.2925 – 1.8397; E' was 0.5354 – 0.6285 and C was 0.4282 – 0.5365; temperature 29.39 – 29.43 0C, brightness 19.5 – 27.66 cm, turbidity 10.51 – 16.64 NTU, current speed 0.1428 – 0.1507 cm/sec, pH 6; DO 3.13 - 4 mg/L, CO2 13.98 – 17.45 mg/L, TSS 74.66 – 221 mg/L. Sediment fraction in the sampling points I and II was gravel sand fraction, while in the sampling point III was muddy sand.
Keywords : Freshwater fish, Diversity Index (H'), Dominance Index (C), Uniformity Index (E').
