Profil Darah Merah Dan Kelulushidupan Ikan Jambal Siam (Pangasius Hypophthalmus) Yang Diberi Pakan Mengandung Ekstrak Daun Bakau Minyak (Rhizophora Apiculata)
Rhizophora apiculata is one of the mangrove plants with a local name Mangrove Oil which contains a lot of compounds Flavonoites, Saponins, Steroids, Terpenoids, and Tanins. This study aims to see the picture of erythrocytes and improve the survival of Siamese jambal (Pangasius hypophthalmus). The method used was an experimental method with Completely Randomized Design (CRD), one factor with 5 levels of treatment and three replications where Kn: Control was negative (feed without R. apiculata leaf extract and without being challenged with A. hydrophila bacteria), Kp : Positive control (feed without given R. apiculata leaf extract and tested challenged), while P1, P2, and P3 were fed with a dose of R. apiculata leaf extract 1.5; 1.6; and 1.7 mg / kg of feed and challenged with A. hydrophila bacteria with a dose of 0.1 ml / tail (density of 108 CFU / ml). Siamese Jambal fish (P. hypophthalmus) measuring 8-10 cm are maintained in an aquarium measuring 40 × 30 × 30 cm with a stocking density of 1 tail / 3L of water for 45 days on the 33rd day of the challenge test. The parameters measured were total erythrocytes, hemoglobin levels, hematocrit values and survival. The results showed that P3 (1.7 mg / kg addition of R. apiculata leaf extract) was the best dose, to improve fish health seen from the final value of total erythrocytes 2.78 ×106 cells/mm3, hematocrit value 37.00 %, and hemoglobin level of 12.00 g/dL after challenge test and produce a survival rete of 80 %.
