Pengolahan Air Gambut Dengan Menggunakan Campuran Koagulan Primer Dan Sekunder
Peat water is surface water that is abundant in swampy areas or lowlands which has the following characteristics: high color intensity (reddish brown), low pH between 2-5, high organic matter content, turbidity and particle content low suspended and low cation content. The purpose of the study is to compare the results of a mixture of coagulant variations by meeting the requirements of the Ministry of Health. Varying several alum coagulants and PAC, namely variation 1 (alum 1%: PAC 2%), variation 2 (alum 2%: PAC 1%) and variation 3 (alum 2%: PAC 2%) with stirring for 35 minutes and indwelling for about 35 minutes 15 minutes by analyzing pH, metal concentration values (Fe and Mn) with the AAS tool and doing 10 respondents (Color and Odor). The results of peat water treatment for variation 1 are pH 3.7, Fe metal concentration 0.2047 mg / L, Mn metal concentration 0.2183 mg / L, clear yellow color and slightly smelly. For variation 2 with pH 3.6, Fe metal concentration 0.2001 mg / L, Mn metal concentration 0.2145 mg / L, clear color and odorless. For variation 3 with pH 3.6, Fe metal concentration 0.1972 mg / L, Mn metal concentration 0.2115 mg / L, clear yellow color and odorless.
