Toksisitas Limbah Cair Kelapa Sawit Dan Uji Sub-Lethal Pada Wadah Pemeliharaan Benih Ikan Baung (Hemibagrus Nemurus)
Palm oil liquid waste is a waste produced from oil palm which is dangerous and can disrupt the life of aquatic organism, especially Baung fish whose habitat is close to the location of oil palm perocessing. This research was conducted on November until December 2018 at the Laboratory of Environmental Quality of Culture, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau, Pekanbaru. Objective of this study to determine of toxicity palm liquid waste effect and sub-lethal test on the maintenance media of Hemibagrus nemurus and safe doses for the growth of Hemibagrus nemurus. Method of this research is an experimental method using a Complete Random Design (CRD) with one factor and three stages of an experiment as follows : 1). Preliminary test; 2). Lethal test ; 3). Sub-lethal test. Determination of LC50 96 hour value using EPA Probit method with probit analysis software in SPSS program. The Test fish used during the study is the seed of fish Baung (H. nemurus) with a size of 5 cm as much as 450 tails obtained from BBI Sei Tibun, Kampar. The stocking density of Baung seeds fish is as much as 10 tails per container. The parameters measured during the study are absolute weight, absolute length, specific growth rate and sustainability. For water quality, such as temperature, pH, DO, CO2 and Ammonia. Result of this study that has been done, the toxicity of palm oil liquid waste and sub-lethal tests give effect on the seed of Baung fish (H. nemurus) during maintenance, acquired value LC50 96 hours is 230.57 ml/L While the safe limit value Biological Safety Level of 2.30 ml/L. The best treatment is in P1 (2,30 ml/L concentration of palm oil waste), with the value of absolute weight growth of 2.39 grams, the absolute length growth of 3.14 cm, the specific growth rate of 3.42% and sustainability of Baung fish (H. nemurus) is 93%. The parameters of water quality such as water temperature ranges between 26-28°C, pH ranges between 5.6-8.0, DO range between 4.1-2.3 mg/L, CO2 ranges between 8,60-13.50 mg/L and ammonia ranges between 0,018-0,056 mg/L.
