Valuasi Ekonomi Ekowisata Danau Kajuik Dengan Metode Travel Cost Di Kecamatan Langgam Kabupaten Pelalawan Provinsi Riau

Kajuik Lake is a kind of tourism that utilizing the environmental service and has an economic potential. The purpose of this study aims to estimated the economic value of Kajuik Lake ecotourism. This study used the analysis of travel cost method. The travel cost method is a method that uses the individual travel cost to estimate the demand function for the site. This method can also to estimate the consumer surplus for calculate the ecotourism value of the Kajuik Lake ecotourism. This study was conducted in May – June 2017 with the respondents were 30 visitors by accidental sampling. The result showed that the condition of the tourist area not exceed the carrying capacity. The carrying capacity of the Lake Kajuik tourist area estimated to 37.260 visitors with the total large of area is 42,55 hectares including land and water zone. Furthermore, the number of visits of Kajuik Lake influenced by variable travel cost, distances, level of education and the gender of visitors. The amount of influenced the number of visits simultaneously R-Sq (adj) is 98%. The average cost of travel visitor was IDR 65,066 per visit. The consumer surplus was obtained for IDR 3,963,974.90 per individual per visit. So that, The economic value of Kajuik Lake ecotourism was estimated to IDR 6,992,097,614.15 per year.
