Pembuatan Cetakan Fuselage Wahana Terbang Tipe Fixed Wing Serindit V-2 Dan Atha Mapper 2300
Serindit V-1 Unmanned Aircraft and Atha Mapper 2150 are flying rides from the University of Riau's Mechanical Engineering flying robot team. The technology of making fuselage (primary molding) patterns on these two vehicles is carried out using the manual method. This method has a low level of accuracy that affects the quality of the mold produced. To improve the dimensional accuracy of the fuselage mold pattern, in this study a mold pattern (primary molding) was made using the help of a three-dimensional printer machine. This mold pattern refers to the design of the fuselage flight platform Atha Mapper 2300 and Serindit V-2. From the fuselage mold pattern that was made, it was then used to produce fuselage molds with composite materials. Mold making is done using the vacuum baging method. From the measurement results of the dimensions of the mold pattern and fuselage prints, errors occur that generally occur below 5%. This shows that the accuracy of the mold pattern (primary molding) and the prints produced with the help of three-dimensional printers are more precise than using manual methods.
