Pengembangan Program Sekolah Adiwiyata Nasional Di Tingkat SMA Kota Pekanbaru
The implementation of program towards Adiwiyata School in Environmental Education subjects does not have a teacher or student handbook, syllabus, assessment structure yet, lack of strict policies from school leaders and the supporters from outside on environmental awareness. The aims of this research is to find a model of applying environmentally schools through the adiwiyata school program at the level of Senior High School Pekanbaru. The study was conducted from September 2017 to October 2018 at Senior High Schools Pekanbaru, namely: SMAN 2, SMAN 4, SMAN 5, SMAN 6, SMAN 9, SMAN 7, SMAN 10 and SMAN 14. In this study the data was used for qualitative data analysis namely, through the data that has been collected is processed and analyzed to answer the research problem and the research hypothesis. The data obtained is organized according to the demands of statistical presentation / processing which will be used in the form of frequency or percentage tables. Data obtained through observation, questionnaires and interviews were analyzed descriptively and subsequently formulated the strategy of developing adiwiyata school programs at Senior High School Pekanbaru by using SWOT analysis. The condition of the Adiwiyata school program shows that it is necessary to increase environmental activities that involve the community and develop methods of environmental learning and the implementation of an environment-based curriculum. The results are the formulation of an environmentally school development strategy through the Adiwiyata school program to realize an environmentally conscious culture and enhance the entrepreneurial spirit of school students. Adiwiyata school development strategies at the high school level by including environmental lessons in the school curriculum, publishing environmental guidebooks for schools, increasing student entrepreneurship with the form of a garbage bank and composting, fostering an environmentally conscious culture. Adiwiyata school program has a positive impact in terms of ecological, social and economic. The ecological impact of the adiwiyata school program makes the school environment more comfortable and beautiful and increases the concentration of students in learning process. From the social impact, it fosters an environmentally conscious soul. From the economic perspective, it has an impact on increasing the entrepreneurship of the school residents.
