Perbandingan Jumlah Konsumsi Sayur Pada Anak Usia Pra Sekolah Berdasarkan Variasi Penyajian
The child's interest in consuming vegetables can be influenced by the served way, variations in the presentation of food can increase the interest of preschoolers in consuming vegetables.The aims of this research was to compare of the amount of vegetable consumption in preschoolers based on serving variations sauteed vegetable, vegetable jelly & vegetable nugget. The study was descriptive comparative design with purposive sampling technique. This research was conducted at the Pembina 3 State Kindergarten in Pekanbaru on April, until 2019 with a sample of 59 respondent based on the inclusion criteria. Types of serving variations consist of sauteed vegetables, vegetable nugget & vegetable jelly. The weight of vegetables consumed was measured before and after the child was consumed then be inculeded in units of weight (gr) on the observation sheet. The instrument used was observation sheets. Data analysis using the Kruskal-Wallis test with a Post Hoc analysis. The results showed that there were differences in the amount of vegetable consumption in preschoolers based on variations in serving with (p value 0,000 < α 0.05). The majority of respondents preferred variations of vegetable nuggets rather than other variations. This research is recommended for parents present vegetables with variations that are different from the original form.
