Hubungan Dukungan Sosial Keluarga Dan Masyarakat Terhadap Kekambuhan Pasien Skizofrenia

Abstract
A relapse of schizophrenia is a situation where the sufferer had a symptom of schizophrenia the same as before, causing the patient to return to the Hospital. Social support of family and society being one of the risk factors that can be a relapse of schizophrenia. This research aimed to determine the correlation between social support of family and society with relapse of schizophrenia. The design of this research was descriptive correlational with cross sectional approach. This research was conducted on 71 patients in Mental Institution Hospital Riau, sample were selected by using technique purposive sampling. This research used questionnaire that had been tested for validity and realibility. The data analysis used univariate analysis to find the frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using chi square test. The result showed that there was correlation between social support of family with relapse of schizophrenia with p value (0,045) < α (0,05) and there was correlation between social support society with relapse of schizophrenia with p value (0,023) < α (0,05). The suggested of family and societycan be give supports to schizophrenia patients has reverted to the environmental and the society, for prevented and decrease relapse of schizophrenia.
