Faktor-Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Kualitas Tidur Pasien Hemodialisis
Abstract
Hemodialysis is one of the renal replacement therapies that used to remove fluids and waste products from the body in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). One of the major problems caused by hemodialysis therapy is sleep disturbance which will affect the quality of sleep. The aim of this study was to determine the factors that associated with quality of sleep in hemodialysis patients. The research method was analitic survey study with cross sectional approach. This study used purposive sampling method with the total samples was 65 respondents. The analysis of this study was univariate using frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using chi square, fisher exact’s, and kolmogorov-smirnov test. The univariate results showed that majority of respondents was middle adult (89,2%), male (58,5%), married (90,8%), unemployed (72,3%), high school-university graduates (69,2%), not coffee consumption (58,5%), not anxiety (70,8%), morning shift (52,3%), dialysis vintage ≤ 18 months (52,3%), fatigue (50,8%), and poor sleepers (75,4%). The bivariate results showed that there were significant relationship between anxiety and fatigue with quality of sleep in hemodialysis patients (p value 0,026 < 0,05 dan p value 0,037 < 0,05). The results showed there were no significant relationship between age (p value 1,000), gender (p value 0,618), marital status (p value 0,631), occupational status (p value 0,753), level of education (p value 1,000), coffee intake (p value 1,000), hemodialysis shift (p value 0,281), and dialysis vintage with quality of sleep (p value 0,616). It can be concluded that anxiety and fatigue are factors associated with sleep quality in hemodialysis patients.
