Peran Camatmengoordinasikanpenyelenggaraan Ketenteraman Dan Ketertiban Umum Di Kecamatan Tampan Kota Pekanbaru Tahun 2014-2016

The background of this research is the high number of security and public order disturbances and the low coordination of the Camat in the implementation of peace and public order in 2014-2016. This study aims to determine the role of Camat in coordinating the implementation of tranquility and public order in subdistricts Tampan 2014-2016 years and to know the factors that affect the less optimal role of the Camat in coordinating the implementation of peace and public order in subdistricts Tampan 2014-2016. The formulation of the problem in this research is the role of the Camat coordinating the implementation of peace and public order in subdistricts Tampan 2014-2016 and what factors are not able to optimally the role of Camat in the implementation of peace and public order in subdistricts Tampan Year 2014-2016.
The research approach used is qualitative approach. Location and time of research is done in subdistricts Tampan in 2014-2016. Technique of collecting data of this research that is by doing interview and documentation equipped with supporting data obtained from mass media. Interviews were conducted with relevant agencies on public order and peace in subdistricts Tampan.
The results of this study explain that the role of Camat is less than optimal in the implementation of tranquility and public order, coordination by the Camat in the implementation of tranquility and order is to hold an official meeting between the elements or units that must be coordinated, appoint a person, a team or committee coordinator, make the handbook and leader meet with subordinates. While the factors causing less optimal role of Camat in the implementation of tranquility and public order is the absence of work plan that leads to activities of peace and public order and inactivity siskamling existing in the region subdistricts Tampan.
