Abstract

The accuracy of catch production data is one important component in efforts to develop the captured fisheries sector. The accuracy of catch production data can be realized if the data collection is done well and in accordance with procedures in the compilation of data that has been determined. This study aims to determine the accuracy of production data on tuna catches and the factors that influencing deviation of production data on tuna catches in Coastal Fishery Port Carocok Tarusan. This research was conducted to compare ship logbook data with catch data recorded by the port. The catch recorded from the fishery logbook is 113.205 kg while the data recorded from the port is 71.135 kg. From the calculation results the accuracy level of the data is 80,82% which means the data is inaccurate because the the accuracy of the data is
