Abstract
This study aims to determine the construction and financial fishing gear for the step on the charts which are operated by fishermen in the village of Hajoran, Pandan District, Central Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra Province. Specifically about the operational costs of catching a step chart. The method used in this study is a survey method which is done by direct observation of spaciousness and interviews with fishermen, and business owners. Financial feasibility analysis methods used are, Net Present Value, Benefit Cost of Ratio, Financial Rate of Return, Payback Period of Capital. Based on the research results, each step chart is operated by 1 to 2 fishermen. The preparations for the operation of the step chart are: preparation for fishing ground, immersing the net (immersing), lifting the net (hauling) and sorting the fish. The catch charts are small pelagic fish and fish that have positive phototaxis characteristics, namely anchovy (Stolephorussp), squid (Loligosp), song (Sardinellafimriata), pepetek (Leiognathussp). The results of the calculation of financial analysts on the net present stage chart (NPV) are worth Rp. 43.282.660. The benefit of cost of ratio (BCR) for this step chart is worth 1.5. The financial rate of return (FRR) reaches 70,55% and the Pay back period (PP), step on the chart is 1.4 years. This step-by-step chart is said to be feasible and can be continued.
