Peningkatan Pemahaman Konsep Momentum Dan Impuls Dengan Menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Evidence Based Learning Pada Siswa Kelas X Sma Negeri 9 Pekanbaru
The aims of this study were to describe and find out the improvement of the concept understanding of the tenth grader students at SMA 9 Pekanbaru by implementing the evidence based learning (EBL) model on momentum and impulse materials. The type of the research was quasi-experimental. The population of the study was the tenth students of SMAN 9 Pekanbaru in the academic year 2018/2019. The sample consisted of 2 classes with 36 students each. The research data consisted of posttest score data through the application of the EBL learning model. The data were analysed descriptively to see how the conceptual understanding improved after using the evidence based learning model. The result of the analysis of the data obtained were an increase in the understanding of the concept of class X IPA 3 students reaching 71,73% with a good understanding category average. The effectiveness of learning refers to the level of understanding of class concepts with a score of 71,73 including the effective category. The data in knowing the increase understanding the concept of the evidence based learning model can be known through three indicators. The result of the data analysis obtained were translating understanding categories of 85,64% with effective learning categories, interpretation of 68,22%, extrapolation 61,34% with the learning category quite effective. So that it can be concluded that the learning model of evidence based learning on material momentum and impulse can increase understanding of students concept.
