Hematologis Eritrosit Ikan Patin Siam (Pangasius Hypophthalmus) Yang Diberi Pakan Dengan Penambahan Larutan Biji Mangga Harumanis (Mangifera Indica L.)
ABSTRACT
Red blood has the role of carrying oxygen, hormones, nutrients, and body metabolism, harumanis mango seeds are wastes that can be used as antimicrobial / antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal and immune modulator because they contain secondary compounds such as tannin, flavonoids, saponins and ascorbic acid. This study aims to find the best dose of the addition of harumanis mango seed solution (Mangifera indica L) in feed and its effect on the profile of red blood and growth of Siamese catfish (Pangasius hypopthalmus). The research method used was an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of one factor with four treatment levels, P0 without the addition of harumanis mango seed solution, P1 addition of harumanis mango seed solution at a dose of 1.6 mL / kg of feed, P2 addition harumanis mango seed solution with a dose of 1.8 mL / kg of feed and P3 addition of harumanis mango seed solution with a dose of 2 mL / kg of feed. The fish are kept in the experimental pool of the Faculty of Fisheries and Maritime University of Riau with stocking densities of 50 fish / m3 and a size of 8-12 cm. The results showed that feeding containing harumanis mango seed solution which was given for 60 days in fish gave an influence on the profile of red blood. The best dose is in the treatment of P3 (2 mL/ kg of feed) with an average total erythrocyte 300.33 x 104 cells / mm3, hemoglobin level 11.13 g%, hematocrit value 29.33%, absolute weight growth of 37.70 g, survival 95 %.
