Persepsi Orangtua Terhadap Pengendara Sepeda Motor Anak Di Bawah Umur Di Kabupaten Kampar
This study aims to analyze parents 'perceptions of underage motorbike riders and parents' supervision of minors in using motorcycles in Kampar Regency. The research was conducted in the District of XIII Koto Kampar as the most black spot area in Kampar Regency. The study population was parents who had underage children who drove motorbikes in Kampar Regency. Samples were taken as many as 89 people consisting of 81 high school students and 8 junior high school students taken using stratified random sampling techniques. Data were analyzed descriptively with a quantitative approach using the SPSS version 20.00. The results of the study showed that parents' perceptions of the safety of motorbike drivers underage were classified based on functional factors and structural factors that were classified as neutral. This means that there are still parents who do not consider it important about the safety of minors in riding motorbikes. Even though giving permission for minors to ride motorbikes, parents still supervise. Supervision is carried out, among others, seen from the respondent's answer that parents monitor where the child is riding a motorcycle, parents are angry when the child drives a motorcycle at high speed.
