This study aimed to analyze public perceptions of the lives of transvestites in Bagansiapiapi and to analyze the factors which affect public perception of the life of transvestites in Bagansiapiapi. This research is descriptive qualitative research that describes a particular social phenomenon as well as trying to explain something to the reality of the data obtained in the field. The phenomenon under study is the public perception on transvestites in Bagansiapiapi. The conclusions in the public perception of transgender life is the perception of the garden city hung activities that generate negative perceptions with three sub indicators (Annoyingly, not intrusive and does not matter).
To work with sub transsexual disalon positive and negative indicators resulted in positive perception. For makeup transvestites with sub indicators and inappropriate generate negative perceptions while that for sexual orientation transvestite with a sub indicator Know and Do not Know generate negative perceptions. For social Soul transvestite with social life indicator generating positive perceptions.
