Pemodelan Karakteristik Lahan Dengan Produksi Dalam Penyusunan Kriteria Kesesuaian Lahan Tanaman Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.)
The objective of this study was to create the relationship model of Land Characteristics with Production as Formulation Land Suitability Criteria for palm oil (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.). The research was conducted in 6 stages; (1) Data Collection, (2) Data Analysis with stepwise regression and discriminant analysis, (3) Modeling Land Suitability Criteria with the boundary line method, (4) Validation, (5) Comparison with BBSDLP Criteria and (6) Mapping. Modeling used 259 samples.
The stepwise regression analysis showed land characteristics which significantly affected production (ton.ha-1) were Slope, Dust, CEC, pH, N, P, K and Ca. The equation formed was Production = 28,061 - 0,854 Slopes + 6,025K - 0,640 dust + 0,223CEC + 7,710pH + 54,927N + 0,345P -26,645Ca. Based on discriminant analysis, the most influential land characteristics which maked classification boundary were Slope, K, pH, clay, sand and CEC. Based on validation test, model gave 57.92% accuracy in 259 samples obtained. This value was higher than using the existing BBSDLP criteria with 32.82% validation accuracy. On PT. Johan Sentosa Field, the model gave 54.86% validation accuracy and there was no validated when using existing BBSDLP criteria.
