Kebijakan Indonesia Nasionalisme Migas Dari PT. Chevron
One of the Indonesian economy relies heavily on oil revenue increase. However, the main challenge for Indonesia is to improve the weak human resources, facilities, techonology, and the ability of national companies. That is why KJ Holsti International Cooperation on International Relations theory can occur. Cooperation between rational actors; governments, national companies, and multinational corporations and multinationals can be formed to manage the country's wealth for the benefit of the people of the Republic of Indonesia. The aim of this thesis was to examine and analyze the new trends in the petroleum contract stability in countries and developing countries in transistion. Petroleum as limited perception, non-renewable resources and public interest dimension of officers embedded in contractual arrangements for the exploitation of the area that makes the oil industry is highly regulated and historically popular state intervention. petroleum contracts are also susceptible to various changes in circumstances, which may disrupt the economic balance of the contract. The stability mechanism in the form of legal, contractual and economic needed to fight this political risk, fiscal and commercial petroleum contract.
The study looked at are some of the factors that led to the policy of the oil and gas nationalism, and the return potential of oil and gas blocks to national companies, especially Rokan Block Riau Indonesia who have returned to PT Pertamina of PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia. This study uses the theory of international relations with the concept of international cooperation and perspectives of liberalism to identify the main reasons Indonesia operates a policy of liberalism oil and gas and also pulled out in 2020 in Block Rokan.
This study emphasizes that there are several factors driving the transition policy petroleum contracts; 1) business factors; 2) Economic factors; 3) the national interest; and 4) the post-election commitments
