Analisis Sektor Basis, Pola Pertumbuhan, Dan Struktur Ekonomi Kabupaten Siak Periode 2010 - 2017

The purpose of this study is to determine the base sector of Siak Regency, the pattern of economic growth in Siak Regency, and to know how the changes of economic structure in Siak Regency on the periode 2010-2017.The type of data used is quantitative secondary data obtained from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS). The method of data analysis used Location Quotient (LQ), Klassen Typology, and Shift Share

The research result are economic sector which are base sector of Siak Regency on the period 2010 – 2017 by using Location Quotient is manufacturing industry sector, other service sectors, the health services sector and social activities, the corporate services sector, and the education services sector . The economic growth pattern of Siak Regency on the period of 2010-2017 is seen by Klassen Typology that there are no economic sectors in quadrant I (developed and rapidly growing sectors) and concentrated in quadrant II (high growth rate, but low contribution to the economy), namely the Mining and Excavation Sector ; Electricity and gas procurement sector; Water Supply, Waste, Waste and Recycling Treatment Sector; Construction Sector; Wholesale and retail sector; Sector of Accommodation and Food and Beverage Supply; Information and Communication Sector; Financial Services and Insurance Sector; Real Estate Sector; Government Administration, Defense and Mandatory Social Security Sector. Shift Share Analysis shows that the economic structure of Siak Regency from 2010 - 2017 there was a shift in the economic structure from the primary and secondary sectors to the tertiary sector.
