Analisis Pengaruh Implementasi Manajemen Kualitas Terhadap Kinerja Finansial Dengan Kinerja Operasional Sebagai Variabel Intervening Pada Industri Kecil Makanan Di Kota Pekanbaru

ABSTRACK
In Pekanbaru, there are still many small industries that do not pay much attention to product quality issues, especially in the food processing industry. Many industries have not yet received PIRT from the Pekanbaru City Health Office. One result will have an impact on the financial industry itself. This study aims to determine whether the implementation of quality management in an industry with financial performance as an intervening variable will affect the financial performance of small industries in the city of Pekanbaru.
The population in this study is the small and medium industries in the field of food processing in the city of Pekanbaru, amounting to 300 industries. But the focus of this research is only on small industries. Researchers classified small industries based on the number of employees, amounting to ≤5 employees. Thus the population will be 150 industries. The sample used was 105 industries. The sampling method uses simple random sampling. The analytical method used in this study is path analysis (path analysis) with the help of the SPSS program.
The results of this study indicate that: 1) Quality management has a positive and significant effect on operational performance of small industries in Pekanbaru, 2) Quality management has a positive and significant effect on financial performance of small industries in Pekanbaru, 3) Operational performance has a positive and significant effect on financial performance in small industries in Pekanbaru, 4) Quality management has a positive and significant effect on operational performance with operational performance as an intervening variable on small industries in Pekanbaru.
